Azoris Royal Garden Hotel - Leisure & Conference Hotel

Há algum tempo que tinha curiosidade em ir aos Açores. Já tinha estado na ilha Terceira, mas era muito novo e as memórias que tenho já são remotas.

Como puderam acompanhar nas histórias do Instagram e nas fotos que fui partilhando, estive em Ponta Delgada - São Miguel.

Fui conhecer o Azoris Royal Garden - Leisure & Conference Hotel.

Localizado no coração de Ponta Delgada, é o ponto de partida perfeito para explorar as belezas naturais da ilha.

A poucos metros do hotel, temos o centro da cidade (centro histórico) e a marina.

O mesmo, sofreu recentemente renovações e uma mudança fabulosa na sua imagem.

A arquitetura é moderna e a decoração é exótica, inspirada num estilo japonês, clean e elegante.

Dispõe de 193 quartos e conta com jardins exteriores fabulosos, um novíssimo SPA (onde tive a oportunidade de fazer uma massagem), wellness center, piscinas interior e exterior, campo de ténis, estacionamento (perfeito, caso aluguem carro) e wi-fi gratuito.

O Chef Michael Ross está à frente do Restaurante Jardim, com uma vasta seleção de pratos, desde a cozinha internacional a pratos regionais.

O piano bar (que tem música ao vivo em dias especiais), é ideal para uma bebida ao fim do dia.

Durante o fim de semana, tive a oportunidade de fazer um adventure tour (no camião que podem ver na foto abaixo), para conhecer a maravilha natural da Lagoa das Sete Cidades. 

Infelizmente, o tempo não ajudou pois estava bastante nublado. O que serve de desculpa perfeita para querer voltar...

Fiquei apaixonado por esta ilha e fiquei com muita vontade de conhecer as restantes.

For some time I was curious to go to the Azores. I had already been to Terceira Island, but it was very young and the memories I have are already remote.

As you could follow on my Instagram stories and on the photos that I was sharing, I was in Ponta Delgada - São Miguel.

I went to Azoris Royal Garden - Leisure & Conference Hotel.

Located in the heart of Ponta Delgada, it is the perfect starting point to explore the natural beauties of the island.

A few meters from the hotel, we have the city center (historic center) and the marina.

The same, has recently undergone renovations and a fabulous change in its image. 

The architecture is modern and the decor is exotic, inspired by a japanese style, clean and elegant.

It has 193 rooms and has fabulous outdoor gardens, a brand new SPA (where I had the opportunity to do a massage), wellness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court, parking (perfect if you rent a car) and free wi-fi .

Chef Michael Ross leads the Garden Restaurant with a wide selection of dishes, from international cuisine to regional dishes.

The piano bar (which has live music on special days) is perfect for a drink at the end of the day.

During the weekend, I had the opportunity to do an adventure tour (in the truck that you can see in the photo below), to appreciate the natural beauty of the Lagoa das Sete Cidades. 

Unfortunately, weather did not help as it was very cloudy. What was the perfect excuse to want to return soon.
