Aquashow Park Hotel
Para fechar as férias de verão com chave de ouro, a minha escolha foi o Aquashow Park Hotel localizado em Quarteira, no Algarve.
Fiquei num quarto com vista para a piscina exterior, onde pude ver o por do sol, como fui partilhando convosco nas histórias do Instagram.
Também me senti seduzido pela piscina interior aquecida e pelo jacuzzi.
O hotel fica a escassos metros do parque de diversões aquáticas Aquashow - o mais completo de Portugal. Lá, foram-me dadas pulseiras de acesso ao parque.
O staff foi sempre muito prestável e super simpático. Senti-me em casa.
Desde miúdo que não ia a parques aquáticos e a ideia que tinha é que eram fáceis.
Na verdade, há escorregas muito fáceis e familiares, mas há outros que é preciso uma boa dose de coragem.
Mal cheguei ao Aquashow decidi ir experimentar o "Free Fall", com 32 m de altura (e o maior da Europa).
Confesso que na altura, não sabia destes pormenores... Escolhi porque não tinha qualquer fila.
Conclusão, tive uma descarga de adrenalina gigante. Nem sabia bem onde estava.
Completamente impróprio para cardíacos. Achei que não ia lá voltar, mas no dia seguinte, voltei, porque a experiência foi absolutamente inesquecível!
Fiquei fascinado com a montanha russa aquática, única em Portugal e a maior da Europa também, com o Twin Space Suttle e a White Fall.
O Aquashow também dispõe de uma fabulosa piscina de ondas, ideal para quem tem crianças mais pequenas.
Para além de todas as atrações aquáticas, o parque também tem shows de araras, aves de rapina e répteis. Podem também nadar com leões marinhos.
Gostei tanto da experiência, que vou reservar uns dias no próximo verão para voltar.

To close the Summer holidays with a golden key, my choice was the Aquashow Park Hotel located in Quarteira - Algarve.
I stayed in a room with a view to the outdoor pool where I saw the beautiful sunset everyday (as I shared with you on the Instagram stories).
I was also seduced by the heated indoor pool and the jacuzzi.
The hotel is a few meters from the water amusement park Aquashow - the biggest of Portugal.
In the hotel I got wristbands that gave me access to the park.
The staff was always very helpful and super friendly. I felt at home.
Since kid was not going to water parks and somehow I had the idea that it was an easy thing.
In fact, there are very easy and family selected slides, but there are others where a good deal of courage is needed.
When I got to Aquashow I decided to go try the "Free Fall", 32 m high (and the largest in Europe).
I confess that at the time, did not know these details... I chose it because it had no queue.
Conclusion: I had a major discharge of adrenaline. Not quite know where I was.
Completely unsuitable for people with heart issues. I decided that I would not go back there, but the next day I came back because the experience was absolutely unforgettable!
I was fascinated with the water coaster, biggest in Portugal and the largest in Europe too, with the Twin Space Suttle and the White Fall.
Aquashow also features a fabulous wave pool, ideal for those with small children.
Apart from all the water attractions, the park also has shows with macaws, raptors and reptiles.
You can also swim with sea lions.
I enjoyed the experience so much, I will book a few days next Summer.
