All roads lead to Rome

Sempre tive curiosidade em conhecer Roma. Mas o tempo foi passando e fui adiando a visita.

Este ano, achei que seria a altura certa.

A cidade é absolutamente fascinante. Não há canto que não transpire história e cultura, a comida é deliciosa, para não falar nos gelados e nos famosos tiramisu do Pompi, já icónicos na cidade.

Como não podia deixar de ser, atirei uma moeda na Fontana di Trevi e o meu desejo foi simples: voltar à cidade.

O Vaticano é impressionante, assim como o museu com o mesmo nome. 

Em relação à Capela Sistina, é linda, mas muito menor do que esperava.
Durante o fim de semana, dei um salto a Positano, que me deixou cheio de vontade de conhecer toda a Costa Almafitana: Salerno, Maiori. Amalfi, Napoli, Sorrento, para referir alguns. 

Só hoje, penúltimo dia antes de regressar, pude parar um pouco, rever fotos e vir aqui partilhar um bocadinho do que fui captando.

É sempre estranha a sensação de fazer a mala para voltar a casa. 

As coisas boas acabam, efetivamente, depressa.

I've always been curious to know Rome. But time passed and have been putting off the visit.

This year, I thought it would be the right time.

The city is absolutely fascinating. There is no corner that did not transpire history and culture, the food is delicious, not to mention the ice cream and the famous tiramisu at Pompi, already iconic in the city.

I threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain and my wish was simple: return to the city.

The Vatican and its museum were impressive.

Regarding the Sistine Chapel, it is beautiful but much smaller than expected.

During the weekend, I jumped to Positano, which left me full of desire to know better all the Almafi Coast: Salerno, Maiori. Amalfi, Naples, Sorrento, to name a few.

Just today, the penultimate day before returning, I stop for a while, review pictures and come here to share a little of what I was picking up.

It's always strange feeling to pack to go home.

Good things end up, effectively, quickly.
